Here is a wip, mostly Amy Butler Midwest Modern prints. I originally wasn't planning to use the white sashing, but like it much better with the sashing as it make the blocks pop.

Hmmm..I'm still trying to figure out how to make the blog layout the way I want it. Here is the back of the Rainbow Quilt. This is the first free motion quilting I've done and I really enjoyed it. I wish I had figured out that you have to pull the bobbin thread to the top first years ago (duh!) I also used scrappy binding for the first time to go with the rainbow theme.

Rainbow Quilt

Being inspired (as so many have been!) by the likes of Amandajean and Oh Fransson!, I've decided to enter the blog world. I've just started sewing again after leaving it for several years and am loving it! I recently finished this rainbow quilt from this tutorial by the aforementioned Amandajean. I think her often used addition of white fabric gives the quilts a fresh and modern look.
